Why Forex? According to the 2019 Triennial Survey of turnover in OTC FX markets: 6.6 TRILLION dollars are traded in the FX markets DAILY. Forex trading is high risk; however, and every broker will plainly state on their website that over 70-90% of traders lose money. I have read in various places that it is almost certain for a trader to lose money the first 3 years and I can attest to this statement.
So, is trading akin to gambling? Yes and no. Think of it this way: A casino gambles just like the player but any good casino will be sure to stack the odds in their favor. Trading in itself is a very simple concept. Buy low, sell high, sell high, buy low. But the markets move at random, or so its said.
Either way, stack the odds in your favor, wait for high probability setups, and always manage your risks. Get used to losing but lose small, win big. Simple, right? Yet, we’re not all millionaires. I don’t know if I will ever stop learning but I will share the knowledge I have gained to help anyone in pursuit of the “American dream”. But be warned; it will take time, money, discipline, and much mental anguish. There are hundreds of sites that teach the basics so, I assure you, if I use jargon too much it’s not to impress because I’m far from impressive but I will try to show some more advanced techniques and strategies that are not talked about everyday.
Anything I skip over can be Google’d just as easy. I will teach simple concepts in my spare time and if you do not understand, leave me a message anytime. I will write back promptly. If I don’t know the answer, I’ll find it. If I can’t find the answer, I’ll find someone that can. And if you feel that I got something wrong, I’ll take that too. Shouldn’t be hard to find my contact information. Later. \m/
